This morning’s deep thought

Brought to you (unfortunately, not in any monetary or free coffee kinda way, just by copious amounts of coffee) by a venti Pike Place from Starbucks.

Fat cells obscure happiness.

I thought of this this morning as I was standing in Starbucks. Not too much has changed in my life since starting down this weight-loss road, but I am leaps and bounds happier—I really think being heavier makes it hard to be really-and-truly-walking-on-air happy. I was standing in Starbucks this morning (this is even before coffee) just looking at the New York Stock Exchange and the Friday morning hustle-bustle in the rain and thanking God for the little things in life.

Or maybe I was just that excited for my spinach-feta wrap. Unclear.
