I donated blood today! It was my first time ever and it was way less scary than I anticipated. (Like most things.) The screener dude asked if I worked out because apparently my blood pressure was great. He didn’t believe me when I said I’d lost 36 pounds in just under 6 months. But this isn’t about me. It’s about the people I’m helping through this. When I was freaking out about the needle, I reminded myself to be thankful for being healthy and that the people this was for are enduring much worse.
