“I always liked the idea of a woman who doesn’t feel on the inside like she looks on the outside,” he said. “I thought, ‘How could I dramatize that type of person?’”
This is how I got fat. I didn’t (often) feel like a fat chick*, so I kept pretending I wasn’t. Until that day in February that I accepted I was and did something about it!
*This may also have led to some poor sartorial choices.
