That’s what Michael on The Biggest Loser just said, after he lost A LOT (I don’t remember quite how much) of weight in the first week. He started the season as the heaviest member, but he broke the record for the most weight loss ever in the first week.
“I want to get back on the treadmill,” he said. “I want to see what else I can do.”
That’s what keeps you going on this journey. You kick yourself and push yourself more than you’ve ever pushed before, and then you jump on the scale, or you try on those jeans, and IT WORKED. The more you work out, the stronger your body gets. And the easier the workouts again. (That’s when you need to make them harder again.)
Your body is capable of so much; keep pushing it! (And if it hurts like all hell, stretch and drink water. And have some protein to build your muscles back up.)
