Why you SHOULDN’T take Advil before a race

Link: Why you SHOULDN’T take Advil before a race

Thanks, Eileen!

Apparently Advil does really bad/not good things to your body if taken while running.

The ibuprofen users also showed signs of mild kidney impairment and, both before and after the race, of low-level endotoxemia, a condition in which bacteria leak from the colon into the bloodstream.

I’ll do it after if I really need it. I’m no longer trying for a certain time, just to cross the finish line without too much pain.
