Yesterday I went to Trader Joe’s, and I was in healthy-but-lazy-eater heaven. (The one in Union Square usually has lines out the door, so one must mentally prepare before going there.)

This? Frozen steel cut oatmeal with some brown sugar. (But not much – there are only 7g of sugar) It takes no longer to make than regular instant oatmeal, and it’s way better for you. I threw in some of the frozen berries I got, too, because a girl can never have enough antioxidants.

I needed an incredibly filling breakfast because I have a busy day ahead: some work this morning, a 3-mile run, church (it’s Ash Wednesday!), a secret meeting and a Junior League cocktail party tonight.

(I don’t usually take a picture of my coffee, but it’s always always always a part of my breakfast.)
