After making fun of Heartland Brewery yesterday, of course, I ended up there last night. (The food is fine; it’s just a bit of a touristy place/small chain and there are enough restaurants in NYC to not have to go to chains!) The weather was too nasty to walk any further from the subway.
I got a bison burger with sweet potato fries (Catholic fail; I gave up bread for Lent, and yesterday was Friday….), and it was amazing. I wanted a burger and fries, and this was the slightly healthier alternative. Afterwards, I saw Alice in Wonderland, and it was totally adorable. Like Kristin, I wanted each and every one of Alice’s dresses, especially the one she wears in the palace at the end.
