Pre-run breakfast/snack: Luna bar and banana.
Post-run lunch: turkey burger, a bit o’brown rice and some broccoli. (And x marks the spot?)
Well, I got 4.5 miles in. It was starting to mist, and I figured that after being sick and with my race being in a week, that I shouldn’t push myself. (I had originally planned on five.) The great thing about running in crappy weather is that only the serious runners (apparently I’m one of them now?) are out. I felt like I was running through quicksand, but when I looked at my Garmin, I was running 9:30 miles the entire time, so I guess I was pushing myself more than I realized, as I usually run around a 10:00-10:30 mile. Sweet.
