Most nights when I eat at my apartment, it’s just me and the pup. (Hence why I eat out so much?) I try to eat at my kitchen table because:
1. I have one. This is somewhat rare in Manhattan.
2. I once heard a chef on TV talking about making each meal special. Even if you’re eating by yourself. I liked the sentiment, and I try to make each meal a little treat to myself at the end of a long day.
3. I don’t watch much TV.
3. I have a little dog that usually sits on the couch with me. If I ate in front of the TV, I’m pretty sure he’d be all up in my dinner.
That little dog is in NJ this week while I get adjusted to my new routine, so I threw caution to the wind, ordered some sushi and ate on my coffee table while I watched a little TV last night.
