Woman’s Day Cookvook

I don’t know about you, but if I’m following a recipe (which I’m not, always), I’m usually referring to either my laptop or my iPhone. My new company publishes Woman’s Day, and they just released this CookVook app for the iPad. (There’s also versions for the iPhone, iPod touch and a Web version.) A Vook is a book with multimedia elements — video, Web links. There’s videos from both readers who have tried the recipes and the WD editors teaching you how to make the recipes.

I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to get an iPad, but this app is PRETTY. And makes me want to get an iPad, like now. I can see the video part being sort of amazing — I could cook without having to get a screen or keyboard dirty!

Full disclosure: Anything I post regarding new awesome company will be because I genuinely think it’s awesome, not because they asked me to.
