Per my promise to try new things, I made Overnight Oats last night.

What I put in mine:

  • 1/3 cup dry oats
  • 1/3 cup Chobani
  • 1/3 cup vanilla soy milk
  • half a sliced banana (I can’t think of anything a banana doesn’t make better)

I put it in an almost-empty jar of sunflower seed butter so it had some of the sunflower seed butter flavor. Eating it at my desk probably made me look like I was eating the butter out of the jar, and that’s fine by me. The consistency was weird, but I think this will be a good summer breakfast to mix things up.

Also, I miraculously didn’t spend any money yesterday. This whole making-things-in-advance thing has something to be said for it.
