Last night, I tried out Acqua, an Italian restaurant/wine bar in my ‘hood. We started with some tuna tartare, which was consumed before I could even think about getting my camera out. Much like I can’t turn down duck or scallops on a menu, I also can’t resist pesto or gnocchi. Knowing I was going to run 10 miles today, I decided to go for the spinach gnocchi with pesto.

It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten white pasta (much less little pasta dumplings!), and I was ready for a nap at the table afterwards. Instead, I had another glass of wine with my dinner companion and met up with a different group for some cocktails at the Ace Hotel — a cool place I’m glad I checked out.
