I came to DC for my old boss’ baby shower, so when I got off the train, I headed right for her house. Luckily, it’s near Buzz—one of my favorite DC-area bakeries. I bought some cupcakes to bring over. Of course, I had to do a little taste testing first. I bought a red velvet mini cupcake, because it was my favorite. The cake was actually kinda dry, but the frosting was still amazing. At the party, I had a hot dog and some caprese pasta salad. After this morning’s bagel, I wasn’t terribly hungry.
