I usually don’t like bringing my lunch because what I can buy is more exciting than what I can make. HOWEVER, buying shoes/bags/vacations is more exciting than buying lunch, so I’m really trying to make an effort to cut back on the amount of takeout food I buy. I walked over to Saks for a little lunchtime adventure today and walked past Qdoba, Pret, Le Pain Quotidien, etc. etc. and watched everyone walk around with their takeout lunch in a bag. And then I came back and ate my fajitas on top of spinach, which were much more filling than I anticipated. (I did see a Marc Jacobs bag at Saks that I want…that made it a bit easier.)
