Last night, I went out for Eileen’s birthday. As you know, I don’t often eat pasta. But I’m running 15 miles this morning (ah!!), so I figured I’d top off my glycogen stores. In English, that means that I’d give my body a little more energy to run with. I’m so not used to eating pasta that I immediately felt like I wanted to go to sleep after eating it. I probably won’t eat a big bowl of white pasta before all of my long runs (like I said, I still want to lose a few pounds), but at a friend’s birthday at an Italian restaurant, it didn’t seem like a bad idea.

WIsh me luck!
