After my half-marathon (recap tomorrow), I headed to my parents’ house for a day with extended family. My mom had it catered, and we had lots of Italian goodies. In true marathon tapering/I just ran a half-marathon fashion, I loaded up my plate with pasta. I made sure to also get my veggies and protein though. I tried to leave the pasta for last so I wouldn’t get too full.
The cake picture? In NJ, we put cannolis on top of our cakes. That’s how we roll.
And, a certain little dog was upset he wasn’t getting enough attention while I was drying my hair.
