UPDATE: THE SIZE 11 SNEAKERS ARE GONE.
First of all, breakfast was just the spinach feta wrap from Starbucks. I’ve honestly given up on cooking for this week, but I’m still trying to keep track of what I’m eating to stay healthy around the holidays.
You may have caught that I wrote a few weeks ago that K-Swiss sent me some sneakers. I’m not ready to write a full review of mine yet, but I do have some fun giveaways.
When I was in high school, I wore K-Swiss sneakers when I played tennis, but they were the old school ones. (However, they offered plenty of support for ankles weakened from years of gymnastics.)
From Jillian, my K-Swiss PR contact:
Moving forward, K-SWISS is all about performance, in fact, the 2nd place men’s finisher at Ironman last week, Andreas Raelert, and the women’s world champion, Mirinda Carfrea, are both K-SWISS athletes. Obviously not everyone is going to be competing in Ironman, and we love your approachable, realistic view of running, training, and eating properly.
I have two pairs of size 11 sneakers (one pair of tennis, one pair of running) in my apartment. Since these are a specific size, I’m just going to give these to the first person who e-mails me (losingweightinthecity AT gmail dot com) and says these will fit them.
The more fun part of the contest is as follows:
You can enter by commenting (either as a Tumblr reply or a “regular” comment) about your favorite running memory.
OR!
By photo-replying on Tumblr with a photo of your favorite running memory, linking in the comments to a blog post with a photo of your favorite running memory, or sending me (losingweightinthecity AT gmail dot com) a photo of your favorite running memory by midnight EST tonight, Dec. 8. I’ll be choosing five running memories and five photos and will post them for you to vote on tomorrow!
