I signed up for three more today. Luckily, they’re short (for me.) I think my mom nearly had a heart attack when I told her I’d signed up for three more.
So I’m just going to keep eating carbs, mmmkay?

Yay! I'm doing Healthy Kidney and Mini 10K too!
I'm addicted to half marathons--I think I've run 20ish since college--however I refuse to run anything shorter (in an official racing capacity, that is), because I can't justify the money on race fees! They're SO expensive these days. So many of the SF 10Ks are $50-$75!
@Camels & Chocolate: 20 halfs! (Halves? Unresolved question.) Damn girl! And $50 for a 10K? Wow. At least NYRR is relatively cheap--those three races were $56 total.
I'm planning on doing the Mini 10K! I'm currently sidelined by injury, but I'm hoping that can be my first long race back -- and it will be my first 10K ever :)
I have the NYRR site open. I am ready to register for the Mini 10K - just waiting for confirmation from Lizzy! Ya hear that, Liz? Fun times in NYC!

Hello Theodora, welcome to the club. Be warned, race addiction is impossible to kick. I'm pulling a Becky and sitting here with the NYRR website open. The mini-10k looks like an uber fun race that I definitely might have to join you ladies for.

Race addiction is natural - especially when all it takes is your 9+1 to get into the NYC marathon!
