Mother’s Day 2011

When Saturday night includes multiple Derby parties and a rooftop lounge, Sunday morning most definitely includes a bagel before hopping on the train to go home for Mother’s Day.

Trips home mean Market Basket sandwiches…

Artichoke hearts…

Ravioli (also known as RAVIS!)

Salad…

And pork and vegetables. (I was pretty full after the ravioli.)

It truly is a great treat for moms this Mother's Day. Though I am really doing my best to lose some weight, I also had to consider it as a cheat day for myself and because I love mom.

  • Cheat days are good. Not only mentally because they help you be stricter with yourself the rest of the time, but also for stopping the body go into starvation mode.
