A few weeks ago, Heather wrote a great post about happiness and about trying to be happy everyday, not just when everything is going great! And life is all exclamation points!
So, in the spirit of that, here’s a few of the little things that are making me happy right now:
Having sushi with my Junior League co-chair, Shannon, while finishing up some end-of-the-year stuff.
A smoothie after a tough 30/60/90 class this morning
Walking around parts of the city I don’t walk around all the time. This is in the West Village walking from an interview to 30/60/90 this morning.
I’m also happy:
But what I’m most excited for is this conference in two weeks that I won a ticket to from the amazing Ryan at No More Bacon. I went to Colorado almost every year growing up to ski, but I’ve never been there in the summer, and a nice long weekend of play-outside time should be awesome.
What are you happy for today and what’s your favorite play-outside activity?
No idea why I chose Frank Sinatra lyrics to name my last post on this…
As I mentioned in my last post, I've really been going through it with headaches.…
(tw for diet culture talk—mostly how it's BS, but how it's affected me, too) This…
I have been thinking about this post for a while—on why diet culture is unhealthy…
I woke up this morning already feeling anxious. (Yay!) My standard iPhone alarm is set…

Your positive attitude towards all of the changes that are going on in your life are most definilty related to all of the great things that have been happening!

Boulder sounds great! I just saw it in Shape mag as one of the best (maybe THE best) health-outdoorsy place in the country.
Glad to see you are upbeat and have opportunities and interviews coming your way :)

Wow, this fitness and health bloggers conference sounds really interesting. I've still yet to get out to Colorodo, would love to get out there of these days. Enjoy your trip!
Today I'm happy to be living the lifestyle I've always dreamed of and my favorite "play outside activity" is mountain biking or just plain old cruising around on a bicycle.
