I ran 6 miles this morning.
I ran because it was on my training schedule.
But I also ran because I needed to.
To think about the past.
To think about the future.
To sweat it all out and leave it out there.
And come back and live in the present.
Where I may not have a job right now, but that just means my dream job is still out there.
I may not have met the love of my life yet, but that just means he’s still out there.
But I have a roof over my head in the city I always wanted to live in, food in my refrigerator and lots of friends and family that care about me.
And that’s enough for now. The rest will come.

My favorite line: "To sweat it all out and leave it out there."
Phenomenal attitude! What great motivation for the rest of us. Thanks so much for sharing.
You nailed it! Your positivity is commendable.
The rest will come! Great post, simple, yet perfectly said. Glad I stumbled upon your blog!
Everything will fall into place and I agree that running is a great way to put things in perspective.
You have great faith. Just like running, in life we have to move forward and pursue the things we want the most. Like the way you end your story about being grateful about the present. Enjoy the moment, live life to the fullest.
