My Triathlon Packing List

This morning, I ignored all heat advisories (oops) and hopped on my bike for one last little workout before the tri.

I rode for a half hour, covering 6.5 miles. I came back, picked up Bailey (oops again, too hot for furballs to run) and jogged .65 mile down to the groomer with him. It’s wayy too hot for him, so I stopped and carried his hot little body a few blocks because I felt bad.

I didn’t really want to work out in the heat this morning, but I wanted to feel confident that I was ready for whatever weather is thrown at me tomorrow.

I also wanted to make sure that my outfit was comfortable. It’s tight but comfortable. (And they said it’d loosen up in the water a bit.)

I did some sweaty laundry, and now I’m preparing my race bag for tomorrow.

Is there anything I’m forgetting??

I’ve been reading tri recaps from Katy, Meghann, Emily and Caitlin, and I’m starting to get really psyched!

Good luck to:
