This post is part of the Soy Simple campaign. Read my disclosure here.
This is my last Soy Simple post!
So I guess soy will go back to being all complex.
In all seriousness, I agreed to this campaign because I do consume a decent amount of soy–mostly through soy milk (mmmm soy lattes) and Luna bars. I’m not a vegetarian, but I do also really like tofu.
Not just when it’s in a bagel, although that is definitely my favorite way to consume it.
There are a million compelling reasons to go vegetarian, and while I probably never will, I definitely occasionally rely on non-meat protein. It’s cheaper and better for the planet–and it helps to vary your diet.

As a vegetarian these were great! I learned that protein is essential for workouts and workout recovery!
I learned that soy milk is actually kind of tasty in coffee!
I learned there are many other ways to eat soy than just tofu!
I learned Trader Joes sells bags of pre-boiled eggs. Your blog usually inspires me to be more active, but this tip just made me the laziest breakfast maker ever. :)
@Anne: You must have me confused with another blog :) Other than working out, I'm pretty damn lazy!
Great reminder of how important protein is to fuel workouts, before and after!
Not to be afraid of soy! Soy milk in my coffee is delish-and I don't miss the milk.
