HAPPY NATIONAL RUNNING DAY!
My coffee celebrated this morning too.
Coffee, running and pint glasses all make me happy.
Here’s som more running stuff that makes me happy.
Clockwise from top:
Neutrogena Wet Skin Spray Sunblock: This stuff SAVED me at Zooma. I didn’t get burnt in my 2+ hours in the sun, and it never felt super gloppy. Technical term.
New Balance 1400s: I’ve written about my love for these shoes before. They are my jam, baby. Not too lightweight, not too cushy. Just a nice, lightweight ride. (I’ve gotten them free, but I would pay for them in a hot second.)
Erica Sara Designs Race Bling: I have one of these charms for each marathon, and I rarely take this necklace off. It reminds me of what I’ve accomplished that I never thought I could. Also, it’s pretty. And Erica is my friend, and she’s awesome.
Sparkly Soul: These headbands are just cute, and sparkles make me happy. Happy people don’t shoot their husbands.
In the spirit of National Running Day, I also wanted to share some deals I’ve heard about:
Erica is running a giveaway AND giving a discount – deets here.
Rock ‘n’ Roll is offering $20 off all races today!
Sparkly Soul is giving a 15% discount of all headbands with the code RUNNINGDAY.
And a great giving back thing: (Taken from Julie’s Instagram ) #IMARUNNER (FYI: For every Instagram pic or tweet that includes the#IMARUNNER hashtag, Timex will donate $5 -up to $15k- to the One Fund Boston to help those affected by the bombings at the Boston Marathon.)
Did you celebrate this awesome made-up holiday today? I did! A nice 4-miler this morning!
No idea why I chose Frank Sinatra lyrics to name my last post on this…
As I mentioned in my last post, I've really been going through it with headaches.…
(tw for diet culture talk—mostly how it's BS, but how it's affected me, too) This…
I have been thinking about this post for a while—on why diet culture is unhealthy…
I woke up this morning already feeling anxious. (Yay!) My standard iPhone alarm is set…
I read The Midnight Library over the weekend, and I need to talk about it.…

Happy Happy Nat'l Running Day!
I celebrated by not commuting. Well, let me explain (it's short...) (I work from home, so I don't commute anyway.)
I had to return a pick up truck that my wife and I borrowed for a home improvement project over the weekend. Instead of having my wife follow me to give me a ride back, I ran back.
Nice way to do it!
Happy Running Day, lady! Thanks for the links!
Thanks for all the discount info!
I celebrated with a 5K run.
Ha! I love the Legally Blonde reference!! Happy people don't shoot their husbands :o)
The necklace is adorable! I'm going to check out more of her bling right now.
