I think I celebrated my new job for a good two weeks straight. I never went overboard, but I had a few drinks a night for at least seven days in a row. I just don’t do that any more, and my body reacted as such. I’ve been feeling extra sluggish, and starting a new job with a totally different schedule is really not the time to be feeling sluggish (or developing an even stronger caffeine addiction). So, I’m trying to cut back on the grains again for a little while until I feel less bloated. Or until my friends decide to have a beer marathon this weekend…
So when I got home tonight, I dipped into my Fresh Direct box and made some chicken with broccoli and peppers. This dinner will definitely reappear later this week.
