Are they really healthy? Um, no—but they’re not that bad either. I usually get them from Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts, so they’re definitely processed, but they’re usually around 300 calories, which is where my breakfast should be. The egg is really important to me, because it gives me plenty of protein so that I’m not ravenous an hour later.
Right now, overnight oats still seem to be a little too much for my tummy—too much fiber maybe? Greek yogurt (and other dairy) seem to be no-gos as well, and I’m usually in too much of a rush to do anything else. A banana and sunflower seed butter sandwich would probably be a good breakfast for me right now, but I need to get bread. I threw out all my bread before I went to Hawaii (it’d probably be bad now anyway!) when I was convinced I had celiac.
So…yes, I had a Dunkin’ turkey sausage flatbread this morning.
