Wine Date

I have a few things I want to blog about, but sometimes I miss the old days where I just wrote about random crap on my mind…

I also read a lot of interesting stuff throughout the week that I want to share, but at work, I’m logged into all of our social media accounts, not my own, and it’s rarely worth logging out to log into my own accounts. #socialmediamanagerproblems

So, here’s what I’d tell you if we were having a glass of wine together right now.

(I just spent a good 15 minutes going down the rabbithole of old posts when I googled image searched “preppy runner wine.”)

Wolffer Estates

Please take me back to my happy place.

I typically try to alternate every busy or away weekend with a laying-low weekend but this one ended up being rather busy: a date both nights, going to Sweaty Saturday with my good friend Heather and then getting brunch with her pre-date, and then a visit from her this am for some clothes swapping, a run and my mom coming in to help me with some spring cleaning.

Ozeri Scale

I’ve been focusing on eating cleaner, being more consistent with my workouts and wining less, but I really need a scale to keep me honest and have an idea of where my weight is. Valerie said she liked it, and I like that it measures hydration and fat, even if I know those won’t be the most accurate measures. It comes tomorrow, and I’m psyched/dreading it.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT. I don’t watch TV (canceled my cable at least a year ago because it was a colossal waste of money for me), but every once in a while I stumble on a great Netflix series, and I LOVE this one. It’s written by Tina Fey (so of course it’s amazing), and is about a girl who was stuck in an underground bunker for 15 years and comes out and moves to NYC.

A look inside my office. Someone tweeted this at us, and I think it’s really cool! Also, of course, it’s smaller than it looks in the photos.

Awesome read on moderation from my blogger buddy Gina

I’m proud of Anne for standing up to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for endorsing crap Kraft cheese singles

Cynthia Rowley Lip Stain

This Cynthia Rowley lip stain. I had drinks the other night with a friend who works at Birchbox, and she kindly brought me along some swag from her office. This lip stain is no joke.

NewImage

Alex and I have the same wrap sweater, and we keep wearing it on the same day. It’s getting kind of ridiculous. Especially because we sit across from each other. It’s like looking in the mirror (except the mirror is a little off and shows me someone younger and with red hair. So, not at all.)

My best friend is getting married this weekend! I am SO excited for her.

I’m going to take some classes at NYU in digital marketing, likely working towards a certificate. My role is shifting more towards marketing than straight content, and I’m excited to learn more.

I’m also trying to learn more about Snapchat, and I LOVE Grace’s Snapchat Stories. They’re a fun mix of the cool stuff she does…and cute pics of her cat.

Tomorrow is National Puppy Day. I cannot wait for my Instagram to be taken over with cuteness.

I should probably ask this direct on the daily burn website, but I was wondering can international people use it? Or does daily burn only accept American credit cards? Thanks 🙂

I never weigh myself but that scale is intriguing me at the moment – hydration and fat? Super cool….I haven’t seen that lip stain but I just bought Dior’s cheek and lip glow and HIGHLY recommend it….I need to check out that digital marketing link. I have a marketing degree which obviously is outdated on the technology front now (graduated in 2000 lol) but I run social media for a company so I could use this! And totally hear you on logging out of the office social media accounts to get to your own lol. When I go to pin something I find myself not in my accounts and it’s so annoying lol.

I LOVE that sweater! So cute. Thanks for the good links – I’ll be sure to check out Gina and Anne’s posts.
I try to alternate the crazy weekends with the low key weekends too. After a week away followed by a birthday weekend, I’m looking forward to having a weekend at home this week. I just typed “week” way too many times.
I feel you on the social media manager account problems…

    Women are strong as hell!

Mostly I need to know if I need an intervention–I just bought (and truthfully love) that exact blue jacket Kimmy’s wearing at the beginning of the spin class episode. So–considering all her clothes are purposefully a bit over-the-top colorful, should I be worried for myself?
