Last night, the salad I got for lunch at the food court here made me absolutely sick to my stomach. I stayed in and ordered room service. (eating in bed is fun sometimes!) The non-salad item that looked the healthiest was a grilled chicken sandwich. Turns out it came with bacon (bacon!) and provolone. My stomach felt so empty that I was ravenous. I ate the sandwich, but only one of the pieces of bread it was on. And some fries. This morning I had a bagel (not even a good NY bagel!) at the work breakfast. My stomach feels mostly resettled now, so I will go back to my regularly scheduled healthy eating at lunch. I also need to drink a lot of water before getting back on the plane tonight.
