Ignore that this is from a site about gay men and gay dating; I found it searching for “knots quads knees,” since Joel The Trainer said the knee pain/stiffness is basically a result of knots forming in my quads and causing my knees to pull up. I was looking for something thta would explain the foam rolling he recommended I do after I do cardio. I’ll be foam rolling the tops of my quads as well as my IT bands. I’m also going to get down with my bad self in the steam room after my workouts (when I have time) to loosen up my muscles.
