Halloween? A little terrifying for those who have recently lost significant amounts of weight!

It represents the beginning of the Halloween-Thanksgiving-Christmas trifecta, which, of course, is immediately followed by New Year’s.

Since my five-mile run last night, I have consumed:

  • 1 bottle of Nesquik chocolate milk
  • 2 cookies
  • 2 munchkins (and, was regrettably, that super-obnoxious girl at the work Halloween party that mentioned that there are 80 calories in each munchkin. Sorry for that. Consider it a public service announcement?)
  • 1 Hershey (yummy) mini

To be honest, as I told Meg (my awesome friend/college roommate/partner in crime in Baltimore who will soon be writing a few guest posts), I am really nervous about slipping around the holidays. Will my willpower be as strong as it was immediately before Aruba? Doubtful. Will it be stronger than it was this time last year? Absolutely. Will I keep track of it? YES.

Good thing I’m training for a half-marathon!
