I may have mentioned that I ran a half-marathon on Sunday? Now, I know a half-marathon is no marathon, but it’s also no 5K either. It’s a race I trained for for a few months, running a bunch o’miles every week. So my question is, how long does one (one who is still trying to lose a few pounds) recover from a half? And how? I have found plenty of resources on recovering from a marathon but not much about recovering from a half.
And when does one (somewhat experienced) runner start training for their first marathon? Is June too late?
It is weird for me to not be on a running schedule right now. Can you tell?
