This morning I made a smoothie (I can’t call it a Green Monster if it’s pink, can I?) for breakfast, because I wanted to squeeze a run in before going to Joel and didn’t want to have to wake up any earlier to give myself time to digest. I put in: protein powder, a bit of water, a bunch of frozen berries, spinach and a BANANA.
My sneaks haven’t been feeling right to me since the half-marathon, and this morning, I felt like they just weren’t absorbing shock any more, so I only ran a little bit, and then Joel gave Meghan and me a swift-ass kicking, per usual. He also schooled us on heart rate training, something I’ll share more about on Monday. Apparently, though, my heart is in pretty awesome shape.
