I’m headed out for a boat cruise around Manhattan and then possibly to a party after that, so I didn’t want anything heavy. Walking home from doing some errands, I passed approximately 3,027 smoothie stands, so I was craving a smoothie. I also had a craving for almond butter and banana on a sandwich thin, so I had half of one of those sandwiches.
In the smoothie: almond milk, a splash of POM pomegranate juice (sent to me by the POM people), half a banana, frozen berries and some Vega protein powder (that was in my Healthy Living Summit goodie bag).
If you have under-ripe bananas, microwaving them does not ripen them. FYI.
