As I may have mentioned once or twice, I’m ridiculously excited for Reach the Beach this weekend as well as some awesome quality time with the New Balance folks.
As you may have seen a few months ago, New Balance totally hooked us up with some awesome runner goodies.
Well, today I have an extra pair of their 880s to share with one of you. (One of you with large feet–they are a 10.5.)

I run between a 10.5-11 so these shoes would be perfect! Ok so why would I like to win these shoes? First and foremost I love running (I just ran my first marathon in April) and secondly I love to hike and run cool trails near my neighborhood. It must be fate – I wear a 10.5 in running shoes and am just getting prepped to start training for my second half marathon! So much of my running gear is obnoxiously bright to motivate me to put it on and get my butt out the door – with 10 months until my wedding, I’m trying to really ramp up my fitness and hopefully stick with it after the big day!

Hi Theodora! I discovered your blog a few months ago and was so impressed with your weightless story. I am 51 yrs old – mom of three and stepmom to three more. I had a gastric bypass two years ago, lost 105 pounds, and took up jogging with my daughter. We live in PA so lots of cold and wet and good trails along the river. Just did my first 5k! Would love the New Balance 10.5 – perfect size for me!

I LOVE New Balance! I recently switched from NB to a new brand of running shoe, and instantly regretted my decision (dont fix it if it isnt broken, oops!). I desperately need a new pair to train for my 2nd half marathon in, these would be perfect!

I would love a new pair of running shoes because I just started my training cycle for the Rock and Roll San Antonio half-mary in November. Along with my running I have also recommitted to healthy eats to fuel my training. Like everyone else, I would like to win these shoes because of the weird coincidence that you are doing a shoe giveaway with my weird shoe size. Oh PLEASE PICK ME! 10.5! That’s just my size and I have never had a decent pair of shoes in my life.. I am 25 years old and over 355 lbs. I have lost 23 lbs on my old cheap tennis shoes, and I still have 177 lbs to lose! I don’t have enough money to buy a nice pair of New Balence shoes. PLEASE HELP ME!

Shut up this is perfect. We need to start a large footed girls club. I am only 5’5, but have big feet. When my dad used to make up bedtime stories for us while growing up, he always named my character “Princess/Chief Big Foot”. It’s a wonder I don’t have a complex!

I would like to win these shoes because it will give me the much needed motivation to kick up my workouts a notch. I have recently started my weight loss journey to lose 150 lbs., and I need all the motivation I can get. I did not want to resort to weight loss surgery so I am losing the weight the old fashion way which is by “hard work and dedication” as the trainer on biggest loser says. If I win these shoes, they will quickly become my new best friend and be with me every step of the way as I strive for my goal.

WOOOOOO one of the few times I have ever been thankful to have large feet!!!! I am a 10.5 and I am in need of trail shoes. I’ve realized a solid amount of training will need to be done on trails/soft surfaces to prevent shin splints for myself. Would really feel blessed if I was given them. Thanks!
I have a pair of asics that are wearing out. They actually have holes in them & my knees are starting to hurt…time for new shoes! LOL. Perfect size too. A new pair of New Balance 880s sound great!:)

I wanted these shoes the instant I read “a road-friendly ride to help you maintain your running regimen during the colder, wetter months of the year.” Living in the brutal snow belt of western NY, the colder, wetter months of the year last for MOST of the year. As a big-footed lady, these shoes would be a treat to run in.
Would love to win these for my friend Laura. She’s a great friend with two kids (ages 3 and 11 months) who puts them, her husband and her friends first. She has larger feet which I always tease her about and is hard to find shoes often. She’s also lost around 50 pounds in addition to all of her ‘baby wieght’ and has done it by being active and eating healthy. Recently she was looking to purchase sneakers in a second hand store to save money to by her kids the things they need and want.

Ooh, I’m a 10.5. I’ve never owned a pair of New Balance shoes despite growing up outside of Boston. I used to think of them as a brand my dad would wear, but they have some amazing and trendy styles.
