I’m definitely a matchy-matchy kind of girl. I match my bags to my shoes and go a little nuts if I inadvertently put on something I think clashes.

So when I saw that some bloggers have single bowls or plates that weren’t part of a set, I just did not comprehend it.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN? They don’t match? What? Who would do that? Well, lots of food bloggers who take pretty food photos. But, despite seeing that pretty plates=pretty photos, I still couldn’t get behind it…until I went to Target yesterday, and saw a few cute plates for $1-$2 each.

I spent a whopping $6.49 to mix up my plates for some of my photos.

Mom’s meatballs and sauce over whole wheat spaghetti with a little spinach and goat cheese. Do you like my new bowl?
