Outside of work, Junior League has been consuming a lot of my time. We have two big events this week (both open to the public…hint, hint), and my committee has been working hard on the final PR push for these events, as well as wrapping up end-of-the-year stuff.
It seems weird that May is only 31 days, because I feel like I have more awesome stuff coming up this month than I’ve had all year.
May 3: Bags and Bubbles
Goal: DON’T buy a bag.
May 4: awesome event at Pure Yoga that Ashley and Gia are putting together. (More details here.)
May 5: my sweet little cousin Lexi’s first birthday party!!!
AND Derby Day.
May 9: Fitblog NYC (#fitblognyc): an awesome event from Fitness magazine with some of my blogger buddies

May 17-20: Boston for Reach the Beach with these 11 lovely ladies. (Pugs and turtles not included.)
And most excitingly,May 25-28: OBX for Memorial Day. This is the fifth year in a row I’m going, and I can’t wait to lay on the beach.
How about you? What awesome stuff do you have planned for May?
I’m off to the Blend Retreat this weekend. But that’s about it in terms of my May traveling. Then it’s Boston and NYC in July!!
May is mostly full of work…BUT i think there should be a random beach trip in there somewhere that I’m really looking forward to 🙂
Looking forward to seeing you again next week at the FitBlog event! I’m getting excited to meet even more of the FitFluential gang! 🙂
May starts with a bang for me. The annual event for the program I manager is this weekend. I am so busy I can’t see straight. I will finally get a day off next weekend! I’m looking forward to it since I haven’t had one off in a few weeks at this point.
Another event later this month. But I’m attending, not hosting. Fun, but much less work.
And next week I start training for my first 10K!
yahhh!! Can’t wait to meet you and so many other’s at FitBlogNYC!!! 😀
What a nice way to start May. I should have done something like this yesterday
That’s a packed month! We launch our boat in May, and we are literally chomping at the bit to get back on the water. Even though it was a warm one, winter seemed so long!
Hoping May will be the month I can run pain free! Plus, I’m also finishing classes this month and graduating grad school (even though I still have fieldwork, at least classes are done!!!).
so many awesome things! I’m really excited about the event next Wednesday – let’s plan something fun for Wednesday night! I’m excited to move into our new place this weekend. once that happens, I know May will open up to many new possibilities.
I am running my first half, getting married, and taking my honeymoon in Cancun!
My birthday! woohoo! And the Brooklyn Half, a friend’s daughter’s christening, my daughter’s first dance recital and lunch with an awesome blogger next week 😉
FitBlog NYC is going to be SO SO SO much fun! I can’t wait to actually get to spend time with you =)
The RTB team looks awesome – I met and hung out with Monica from RER when I was in Texas last month – she’s so awesome=)
Also, it’s going to rock because of all these reasons: http://www.buzzfeed.com/daves4/reasons-why-this-month-is-going-to-be-the-best-mon 🙂
My colleague is going to be at Fitblog NYC for V8 Smoothies – definitely try to stop by for a smoothie if you have time!
I agree, May seems super busy! We have a friends 30th birthday party (beer olympics??), a going away party for a friend, another friends 30th bday, salsa dancing (should be interesting); throwing an Adult Field Day for my boot campers, and planning vaca for next month! can’t wait!
I think my May is going to ROCK too … our calendars have basically the same events on them 🙂 I’m even going from a baby shower to the Derby Party! Cant wait to catch up
It looks like you will be super busy in May – make sure you take some time for yourself at the beginning of June to give yourself a break.
I thought you knew Murphy was runner #13?
