…that’s where I want to be…
(Apparently I can only use bad song titles for post titles these days.)
Good morning, Los Angeles!
It’s already been a busy few days.
Thursday, I had a whirlwhind few hours at work before being whisked away to the airport to begin my Propel photo shoot adventure.
I took a work call from the car, and it felt like I was at Newark in no time. The security line wasn’t too bad, and before I knew it, it was time to board.
And get bumped up a little because some couple wanted to sit together. OKAY, FINE.
And then it was time to sit on a plane for 5.5 hours. The U.S. is a big place, people. I have been a terrified flyer since 2008, and I’m really proud to report that no pills or wine were consumed on this flight. Just some deep breathing on takeoff, and then I was fine, except for a few bouts of turbulence that I frantically gchatted everyone I knew and told them I was going to die.
Spoiler alert: I did not die.
I worked the entire flight, and landed in LA around 4:30 Pacific, and a car brought us to the house.
So, the view’s okay. We’re staying in Beverly Hills, but I have not yet spotted Brenda or Brandon.
I miss Bailey, but I have this little froggy friend.
Not too shabby.
I walked in and down the stairs, to, oh three cameras trained on me, NBD.
How does it feel, buddy? 🙂
We have chefs for the weekend (YESSSS!), and they were right on top of their Brussels sprout game.
And this is where we get to spend our small pockets of downtime.
We’re back on set again today, but you can follow along with our adventures on Instagram.

Enjoy the West! Looks like it’s treatin’ ya very well!
It was a little tough having to make my own lunch today…..
I know, life is hard 🙁
Whhhatt?! Chefs?! That’s incredible. I can’t wait to hear more about this!
Also, did your flight have wifi? I have yet to fly on a plane with those capabilities. So jealous.
yes! I’m not *much* of a diva, but I insisted on wireless on my way out there so I could work and fly…
What an amazing experience! I can’t wait to hear more about it 🙂
Looks fun!! And is that sun, grass, blue sky, and green trees? I hope those all return to the Midwest someday 🙂
